Terms and Conditions

Legal terms governing your use of our website and services

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Ribbleton FC Youth Team Management System (the "System") and form a binding legal agreement between you and Ribbleton FC Youth ("we", "us", "our").

  • "User Content" refers to any content, including personal information, that Users submit, upload, or otherwise make available through the System.

3. User Accounts

3.1. Account Creation: To use certain features of the System, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

3.2. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3. Account Types: Different account types (player, parent/guardian, coach, administrator) have different access levels and permissions within the System.

3.4. Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, particularly if you violate these Terms and Conditions.

4. User Conduct

4.1. Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:

  • Use the System in any way that violates any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the System or servers or networks connected to the System.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the System or any other systems or networks connected to the System.
  • Use any robot, spider, or other automated device to access the System.
  • Transmit any viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses, or other items of a destructive nature.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person through the System.
  • Submit false or misleading information.

4.2. User Content: You are solely responsible for any User Content you submit to the System. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to use and authorize us to use your User Content.
  • Your User Content does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyright rights, or other rights of any person.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. Our Intellectual Property: The System and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Ribbleton FC Youth and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

5.2. Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the System for its intended purposes, subject to these Terms and Conditions.

5.3. User Content License: By submitting User Content to the System, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute your User Content in connection with the operation of the System.

6. Privacy

6.1. Privacy Policy: Your use of the System is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding your personal information.

7. Player Registration and Participation

7.1. Eligibility: Players must meet age and other eligibility requirements to participate in team activities.

7.2. Parental Consent: For players under 16 years of age, parental or guardian consent is required for registration and participation.

7.3. Code of Conduct: All players and parents/guardians must adhere to the Ribbleton FC Youth Code of Conduct, which promotes respect, fair play, and sportsmanship.

7.4. Health and Safety: Players and parents/guardians must disclose relevant health information that may affect participation in team activities.

8. Events and Attendance

8.1. Event Registration: The System allows users to register for events, training sessions, and matches.

8.2. Attendance: Players are expected to attend events for which they have registered. If unable to attend, players should update their attendance status or notify team officials.

8.3. Event Changes: We reserve the right to change, cancel, or reschedule events due to circumstances such as weather conditions, venue availability, or other factors.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1. As-Is Basis: The System is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without any warranties, express or implied.

9.2. No Warranty: We do not warrant that the System will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

9.3. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the System.

9.4. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms and Conditions or your use of the System.
